Since I FINALLY have internet I can start updating this blog on a more regular basis, so hooray for that. Don't really have it in me to do some long entry right now, but I am going to share a few little things I find interesting about this country I'm living in.
1. My VCR is a Bazooka brand VCR...no joke
2. Everyone over here has crazy hairdos, like even politicians or news anchors will have fauxhawks or Sonic the hedgehog style hair
3. Since it is a loosely socialist based society over here they have all sorts of extra jobs just so people can be employed. Case in point they sent one technician to plug in my modem and five minutes later another one to set up the internet on my computer. When I asked the girl why she just told me that he sets up the hardware while she does the software. Hilarious.

So nice to see you up and running finally!!! Looking forward to more pictures- did you take some of the beach? Didn't get a call so am thinking you avoided the sharks- do they even have sharks over there? Anyway, send some pictures of you so I can make sure you are not wasting away....
